Chorizo sandwich - The flavour of the meat, pickles, cabbage and sauce were a treat to our taste buds. The music was great. The food was excellent. Our stomachs were happy. Highly recommended. “ I lived in Cumberland for 4 months for a ski season and this cafe was my go-to day off breakfast spot. The breakfast bagel is possibly the best thing I’ve ever tasted and the coffee is top-tier. On a rainy day, the best place to be is at Laneway with a latte in hand, people-watching from the table at the window. The staff are absolutely lovely too. I can’t reccomend this cafe enough! ”
“ What a very well run cafe! And the food is delicious. We had the breakfast sandwich and a beef sandwich, and both were outstanding. There are gluten-free options, including bagels, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. The homemade sauces on the sandwiches — in this case, a tomato jam and aioli — were simply excellent. And the coffee drinks are made with flare. Anybody would be glad to have a cafe like this in their hometown. I wish my town had one like it! ”
